It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Grotheer (Pittsburg, Kansas), born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Twylia Zaccarello (McCallum); her husband Eugene E. Grotheer; her sister Kathy Zaccarello; and her sister-in-law Lois Hosier. She is survived by: her children, Tiffany Peery (Brian) of Pittsburg, Jason Grotheer (Tammy) of Pittsburg, Piper Stewart (Joel) of Pittsburg and Noah Grotheer (Brandy) of Pittsburg; her brother-in-law Bob Hosier of Pittsburg; and her grandchildren, Scout, River, Stone and Christian. She is also survived by three nieces.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Via Christi Village Assisted Living Social Fund.
