She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marshall and Agnes Entrekin (Gillespie); and her spouse Obie Samuel Pickel. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Calloway (Terry) of Pittsburg; and her sister Ann Swords of Liberty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
