He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar Sr. and Katherine Lucille Gibbs (Fuqua); and his son Charles Edgar Gibbs III. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Gibbs (Jeffrey Jenkins) of Girard, KS and Susie Bell of Aurora, MO; and his grandchildren, Makaihlah Stover (Chet), Jaylynn Jenkins, Alexis Jenkins, Charlotte Jenkins, Christian McCann, Jordan Gibbs, Jared Gallea, Victor Bell, Alyssa Gibbs, Cannon Loughmiller, Ava Loughmiller and Kamree Gibbs. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
