She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ignace Kastelic and Maria Kastelic (Vanderhaegen); her husband Melvin Kennett; her children, Dr. Ron Kennett (Debbie) of Litchfield Park, AZ and Debbie Hawley (Kirk) of Pittsburg; her grandsons, Derek Kennett (Michelle) of Surprise, AZ and Brad Kennett (Katie) of Sioux Falls, SD; her stepgrandson Kris Hawley (Molly) of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Caitlin Kennett, Rylan Kennett, Lauryn Kennett and Austin Kennett; her stepgreat-granddaughter Adrienne Kalehuawehe; and her brother Robert Kastelic (Jeannie) of Sunnyvale, CA. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Due to Covid, a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fr. Robert McElwee as Celebrant.
The family suggests memorials be given to the S.E.K. Humane Society.
