He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Ward and Opal K. Ward (Hancock); and his wife Betty Lou Lauber. He is survived by: his children, Phillip Dean Ward (Cara) of Frontenac, KS and Sharon Lynn Hilton (Aaron) of Aurora, MO; his siblings, Albert Ward of Derby, KS and Nancy Franklin of Vinita, OK; his grandchildren, Adam Ward, Kimberly King (Ben), Baylee Hardimon (Trey) and Devon Hilton (Jordan); and his stepgrandchildren, Mathew Hilton (Jessica), Victoria Erickson (John), Garett Gebhardt, Bailey Humbard (Brandon) and Jordan Gebhardt. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and twenty one step great grandchildren.
