He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mathilde Anne (Wülke) and George Edward Nettels, Sr.; his wife Mary Joanne Meyers (Josie); and his children, Chris Nettels (Angelyn), Meg Lindsey (John), Kate Faerber (John) and Becky Sloan (Steve). He was also cherished by his parents, children and many grandchildren.
