He is survived by: his parents, John Odis and Jessie Blanche Overman (Hudson); his children, Steve Overman (Pam) of Pacifica, California and Sandra Overman-Haile (Chuck) of Pittsburg; his brother Don Overman (Bernadine) of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Jack H. Overman, II of San Clemente and Jenna Ann Overman; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Haile of Orange and Chris Haile (Lauren) of Land; and his great grandchild Gabrielle Brynn Haile.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jack and Doris Overman Scholarship Fund at the First United Methodist Church, the Jack and Doris Overman Scholarship Fund at the YMCA, or the Jack and Doris Overman Scholarship Fund at Pittsburg State University.
