James H. Grotheer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2021, at the age of 87, James H. Grotheer of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Grotheer and Besse Grotheer (Holley); his son Brent; and his brother Kenny Grotheer. He is survived by: his wife Joann Zagar; his children, Tom Grotheer, Elizabeth Carter, Rod Grotheer of Pittsburg, KS, John Grotheer (Jeannie) of Arma, KS and Theresa Brunskill (Jerad) of Breezy Hill, KS; and his brothers, Bob Grotheer of Pittsburg, KS and Richard Grotheer of Weir, KS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Pittsburg American Legion.
