He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Faucett and Betty Faucett (Laizure); and his siblings, Emery, Virgil, John, Lina and Viola.

He is survived by: his wife Tina Faucett of Pittsburg, KS; his children, James Faucett Jr. (Victoria) of Pittsburg, KS and Alishia Faucett of Pittsburg, KS; his brother Michael Faucett of Pittsburg, KS; his adoptive daughter Jessica Crites of Pittsburg, KS; and his grandchildren, David, Jessi, CarolAnn, Adam and Moses. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials to be made to the YMCA of Pittsburg.
