He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry White and Carmen Munson White; his wife Sharon Zimmerman; his children, Alan White of Wichita, Kristy Evers of Colwich, KS and Jennifer White of Wichita, KS; his stepdaughters, Angie Brooks of Arcadia, KS and Mary Milsap of Oklahoma City; and his siblings, Joe White of Anchorage, Keith White of South Carolina and Ardith Gray of Arizona. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren.
