With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Fast (Pittsburg, Kansas), who passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burson Clare and Amy Fast (Phillips); and his son Ricky Fast. He is survived by: his wife Velma Pauline Hartshorn; his sister Peggy Cook; his daughters, Susan Elaine Hale (Jim) and Rhonda Lynn Clopp (Mike); his grandchildren, Nick Fast (Candace), Angela Suddath (Justin), Joshua Hill (Ashley), Shannon Gallagher (Jared), Nathan Clopp (Kaitee Ground), Roxanne Wainscott III (Darrell) and Angel SanFilippo (Angelo); and his great grandchildren, Jacklyn Fast, Colton Fast, Blake Fast, Mason Suddath, Olivia Suddath, Sara Hill, Kylee Hill, Conner Gallagher, Carter Gallagher, Logan Gallagher, Vera Gallagher, Rylee Clopp and Chase Cook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a mask will be required in the chapel during the Visitation and Funeral Service.
