She was predeceased by: her mothers, Connie E. McGlawn and Lora M. McGlawn (Scruggs); her husband Kenneth Bennett; her son Michael Bennett; her great grandchild Zoe Amershek; and her sister Arlene.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Amershek (Jeff) of Pittsburg, Kansas, Patrick Bennett (Cindy) of Pittsburg and Richard Bennett (Marilyn) of Destin, Florida; her siblings, Shirley, Sonny and Buddy; her grandchildren, Amy Simpson (Chuck), Aaron Amershek (Jesse), Jordyn Goodwin (Tim), Beau Bennett, Broc Bennett and Bailey Bennett; her great grandchildren, Chantz, Cooper Simpson, Zander, Zane, Zac, Zia Amershek, Haydn, Hadley, Madisyn Goodwin and Hazel Bennett; and her pet Pepper.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Safe House Inc. and the Pink Ladies.
