He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph John and Marie Ceclia Burbach (Willy); his wife Jean; and his brothers, Ray and Ed Burbach.
He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Karlinger (Jeff) of Huntsville, Ala; and his granddaughters, Dr. Tracy Smith (Scott) of Austin and Dr. Libby Escobedo (Rafael) of Aurora, Illinois. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
