It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Shepherd of Pittsburg, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis H. Jr. Staub and Helen Staub (Heeter) of Virginia; her father-in-law Dewey Shepherd; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Shepherd, Bill Decker and Roxie Shepherd.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Shepherd; her sons, Martin Shepherd (Valerie) of Springfield and Michael Shepherd (Margaret) of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Shepherd and Evelyn Shepherd; her mother-in-law Juanita Phillips of Wichita, Kansas; and her siblings-in-law, Phillip Shepherd (Veva) of Castle Rock, Colorado and Gail "Suzi" Decker of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Ronald McDonald House.
