He was predeceased by: his parents, John Troy and Minnie Crystal Beaver (Smith); his wife Marilyn Joann Beaver; his siblings, Kenneth Beaver and Lorene Wire; his grandson Nathan "Nonny" Chapman; and his pets, Dusty and Buddy.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Beaver of Pittsburg, Mark Beaver (Dianna) of Weir and Sherry Chapman (James) of Pittsburg; his siblings, Gary Wayne Beaver of Georgia and Donna Stroud of Denton, TX; and his significant other Alice Meek of Pittsburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
