She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McGinnis and Florence McGinnis (Miller); her husband Jonathan Walter Rice; her son Walter Dale Rice; and her siblings, Betty Stevens, Bob McGinnis, Donald McGinnis and Dean McGinnis.
She is survived by: her son Thomas H. Rice (DeEllen) of Cottonwood Falls, KS; and her granddaughters, Michelle Litterini (Lawrence), Vicki Rice, Aimee Gordon (Lance) and Tara O'Connor (Michael). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
