She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Villas; her parents, John Grassi and Dollie Patten Grassi; her husband Joseph Ralph Wallace; her children, Joseph R. Wallace Jr. (Karen) of Iowa City, Bernice "Bunnie" Ross (James) of Weir, KS and Linda S. Solomon (Wayne) of Weir, KS; her daughter-in-law Helen Marie Wallace of Clay Center, KS; her son Larry W. Wallace; her granddaughter Brenda Coe (Ross); her great grandchild Matthew Wallace; and her siblings, John Grassi Jr., Norman Grassi, Raymond Grassi, Lewis Grassi, Lester Grassi and Ruby M. Grassi. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers to the Cancer Research Foundation in care of the funeral home.
