He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Griggs and Marie O. Griggs (Tims); and his siblings, Kenneth Griggs, Judy Meyer and Linda C. Lundberg.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brady; his children, Mike Griggs (Shawn) and Milissa Folk (Eric); and his grandchildren, Amanda Caldwell, Emily Folk, Brandon Griggs, Carley Griggs, Ambrose Griggs, Rachel Folk and Lucas Griggs. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
