She was predeceased by: her parents, William Preston and Minnie Koelling (Lane); her former husband Willis Asa Dye; her husband Wallace R. McDaniel; her sons, Willis L. Dye and Rodney L. Dye; her siblings, Art Koelling, Baxter Koelling, Doffice Koelling, Betty Dobbs and Fannie Mae Koelling; and her stepson James S. McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Cherry of Pittsburg, KS; her siblings, Vic Koelling (Dorothy) of Webb City, MO and Evelyn Bell of North Augusta, SC; and her grandsons, Harold Dye (Toni) of Sheridan, MO, Shawn Dye (Kristan) of Aurora, CO and Justin Wilkerson (Farrah) of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Angels Among Us.
