He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luthi and Minnie Luthi (Schlupp); his former wife Marilyn Wulf; his wife Violet Knobloch; his stepmother Lillie Luthi; his daughter Valorie Luthi; his daughter-in-law Sandra Luthi; his great grandchild Lillie McManis; and his siblings, Albert, Harold, Donald and Violet Wulf.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence (Becky) of Liberal, MO, Calvin (Jodi) of Lamar, MO, William (Kristine) of Silverton, OR, Troy (Vannessa) of Versailles, KY, Darwin (Susan) of Ottawa, KS, Leon (Teresa), Loretta Moser (Rick) of Larchwood, IA, Vera Frieden (Rex) of Lamar, MO, Kristine Huber (Michael) of Jasper, MO and Karla Rutledge of Jasper, MO; and his siblings, Reuben Luthi (Chrystol) of Washington, IL, Wilma Kuntz (Clyde) of Gridley, IL, Lillian Mogler (Howard) of Alvord, IA, Alice Wulf, Jean Knobloch, Vera Knobloch and Phyllis Knobloch. He is also survived by 54 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Comfort Care Homes or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice both of Pittsburg, KS.
