He was predeceased by: his brothers, Don Gideon, Jack Gideon and Ted Gideon; and his son-in-law Larry Startin. He is survived by: his pet Little League; his spouse Shirley A. Gideon (Stevens); his children, Terry Gideon of Pittsburg, Larry Gideon (Coretta) of Weir, KS, Tammy Tierney (Jim) of Frontenac and Shannon Startin; his brother Norman Gideon of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Angela Jones, Shawn Jones, Tyler Startin, Jason Greenwood and Carrie Gideon; and his great grandchildren, Eric Jones, Kayla Golob, Madison Jones, Collin Jones and Carter Jones.
