He was predeceased by: his father Jack M. Schamerhorn; and his parents-in-law, Emma Jean Kreutzer and Aaron Kreutzer. He is survived by: his mother Patricia J. "Peggy" Markham Schamerhorn of Pittsburg; his wife Deann; his siblings, Adele Bolden (John) and Travis Schamerhorn; his sister-in-law Marilyn Taylor; his niece Tiffany Hergert (Keenan); his nephews, Matt Bolden, Christopher Taylor and Conner Taylor; his aunt Dorothy Weber; and his pets, Thelma, Louise and Raider.
Memorials are suggested to the Parsons Education Foundation, Southeast Kansas Humane Society, or to the Rudd Foundation.
