It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Pearson of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pearson and Mabel Pearson (Whipple); his wife Betty Dorlene "D. D."; his grandson Jake Fincher; and his brother Dayton Pearson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Verna Lou Smith (Gary) of Pittsburg and Roxanne Walker (Tim) of Pittsburg; and his close friend Carol Carpino of Pittsburg.

Memorial donations can be made to First United Methodist Church and/or Wesley House.
