William Brooks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2020, at the age of 73, William Brooks of Pittsburg, Kansas, born in Miami, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Maxine Lavon Brooks (Tims); and his wife Mary Ann Vediz. He is survived by: his father William J. Brooks of Pittsburg; his daughter Melissa Untereker of Pittsburg; his grandsons, Kyle and Dylan Untereker of Pittsburg; his siblings, Robert W. "Bob" Brooks (Jo) of Olathe, Steve A. Brooks (Janet) of Columbus, Kansas, Sharon E. Jones (Ray) of Girard and Donna Parrill (Phil) of Columbus; and his brother-in-law Francis J. "Eggie" Vediz (Carolyn) of Pittsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In respect for the family, we are asking that everyone practice public safety by wearing a mask and social distancing.
The family suggests memorials be given to the American Diabetes Association or the Donor's Choice.
