She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecile Pettijohn and Murel Pettijohn; her husband Charles Robert Carmicheal; and her siblings, George, Charles, Darrel, Richard, Jim, Lillian and Elsie.

She is survived by : her children, Wes Carmicheal of Plainville, Kelly (William) and Robyn (Arthur); her grandchildren, Travis Dean, Robert Allen Dean, Krysten Stroh, Matthew Stroh (Anna), Seth Seabolt, Dominic Seabolt and Noelle Sliva; her great grandchildren, Becker Sliva, Kennedy Sliva and Milo Stroh; and her sisters-in-law, Clara Pettijohn, Wilma Pettijohn, Regna Powell and Joan Carmicheal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church in Plainville and may be sent in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 SW 2nd, Plainville, KS 67663.
