He was predeceased by : his parents, Lum Lee and Neva Annie Moser Barber; his siblings, Edwin Lee Barber and Virginia Ann Pence; and his grandson Brock Barber.
He is survived by : his wife Vivian Cross; and his children, Douglas Barber, Edwin Barber (Jane), Samuel Barber (Bobbi), Susan Peery (Tom) and Nancy Hayes (Mike). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
