She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew L. Brown and Helen Brown (Mims). She is survived by: her children, Samuel R. McKinney Jr. of Kansas City, MO. and Janice R. McKinney of Lee's Summit, MO.; her sisters, Linda A. Coleman-Willis (Welford) and Vada B. Brown; her husband Samuel R. McKinney Sr.; her grandsons, Demetrius A. McKinney (Maryland), Brandon D. McKinney (New Jersey) and Tyler J. McKinney (Alabama); her goddaughter Jalecia Bouldin (Arizona); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn McKinney (Maryland), Brielle McKinney (New Jersey), Bella McKinney (New Jersey) and Marley McKinney.
