He was predeceased by : his parents, J. C. Bohannan and Lou Bohannan; his son Milton; his wife Katherine (Katie); and his siblings, Harold, Sue Mann and Mary Mauldin.

He is survived by : his stepdaughter Kathy Denton (Bryan) of Spring Hill, KS; his stepgrandchildren, Abram Denton (Monica), Liam and Alaina Denton of Paola, KS; his daughter Sherilyn Beal (Mike) of Lago Vista, TX; his granddaughter Karen Miller of Leander, TX; his great grandchild Wesley Miller; and his siblings, Jerry Bohannan of Albuquerque, NM and Dorothy Maxwell (Dwayne) of Placitas, NM. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
