It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe King of Prairie Village, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick King and Marie King; and his siblings, Mary (Marie De Lourdes), Kay (Larry Roland) and Roger Meador.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie; his children, Joseph Michael and Suzanne (John Gorman); his grandchildren, Ashley, Katie and Jack Gorman; his sisters, JoAnn Meador, Martha Wiesedeppe (Bud) and Omaha; and his sisters-in-law, Virgina Veleba, Louise Franco, Joan Foreman Mertz and Jean Osborne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Kansas, 11150 Thompson Ave Lenexa KS 66219, St Ann Catholic Church Catholic Charities food pantry.
