She was predeceased by: her parents, Nadine (Lombardino) and Leland F. Gordy; and her half-brother David Lee Gordy. She is survived by: her son Anthony York Velez of Islip; her grandchildren, Aurora, Andrew, Anthony, Angelo, Logan, Jenna, Evonna, Christopher and Michael; her sister Nancy Navarro of Overland Park, Kansas.; her friend Tammalyn; and her former husband John Velez.
