He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Eugene Nicholas and Alberta Mueller Nicholas of St. Joseph, Missouri.; and his grandmother Sophia Mueller. He is survived by : Cheryl Hughes his loving companion of 34+ years; his daughters, Nanette Rice (Richard) of Chesterfield, MO and Genny Nicholas (Ann Abercrombie) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Katy Shannahan (Erik) of Ballwin, MO, Tara Rice (Brian Jones) of Kirkwood, MO and Daniel Rice; his great grandchildren, Kaia and Greyson Shannahan; and his sibling Tom Nicholas (Jane) of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
