We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2020, at the age of 88, Shirley Ann Bates of Prairie Village, Kansas, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carlos A. Bender and Theresa Marie Bender (Burtscher); her husband Edward Lee Bates; and her sister Virginia Swanson. She is survived by : her children, Gerald Bates (Sheida) of Prairie Village, George Bates, G. Kevin Bates (Ana) of Reno, Nevada and Ginger Moore (Daniel) of Reno, Nevada; and her grandsons, Anthony, Alec and Nicholas Moore.

Memorials may be made to Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
