He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Earl Dickey and Regina Dickey; his children, Judith Dickey and David; his daughter-in-law Erika Dickey of Mission Hills; his grandchildren, Alex, Emily and Johnathon; his stepsons, Todd Asselin, Scott Asselin and Greg Asselin; his sister Susan; his brother-in-law Professor Arnold Dahm of Cleveland; his nieces and nephews, Amy, Holger Roehl, Kristi and Dr. Brian Herman; his brother-in-law Judge Gary Gaetner of St. Louis, Missouri.; and also, Shelly, Lily of Prairie Village and Jake Asselin of Prairie Village.
In lieu of flowers Chip encouraged friends and family to donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kansas City, or the charity of their choice to benefit the community.
