It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Hiatt Jr. (Roeland Park, Kansas), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lloyd find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd P. Hiatt Sr. and Colleen Hiatt. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Hiatt of Lansing; his brothers, Alan (Candy) of Wisconsin, Randy (Joann) of Missouri, Charles (Kyra) of Indiana and Steven (Keri); and his children, Emilio "Peet" Valdovinos (Traci) of Maryville, Shawnna Villalpando (Steve) of Mesquite, Rick Land (Melissa) of Leavenworth and Michell Payne of Lansing, Kansas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jarbalo United Methodist Church.
