He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon P. and Mary M. Rake Hoobler; and his siblings, Harold Hoobler, Lloyd Hoobler, Ray Hoobler, Albert Hoobler, Dwight Hoobler and Mildred Ronsee.

He is survived by : his brothers, Forest Hoobler, Topeka Hoobler and Lester Hoobler; his children, Dan Hoobler (Angie), Wamego Wolf and Jayne Wolf (Doug); and his granddaughters, Sara Nordlund (Dale), Valley Falls, Olivia Wolf, Valery Wolf and Elizabeth Giestina (Chris).
