We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2020, at the age of 81, Merle Bird of Rossville, Kansas, born in Alva, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Bird and Eva May Bird; and his siblings, Allen and Carol. He is survived by : his children, Sean Bird (Brooke), Michael Bird (Cori), Daniel Bird (Shana) and Katherine Haynes (Jaycee); and his sisters, Mary and Jeanie Wade. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
