Gene D. Karst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2023, at the age of 88, Gene D. Karst of Russell, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene D. Karst to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Karst and Rebecca Karst (Morgenstern); his wife Vera F. Stewart; his son Audie Karst; and his sister Lillian Shelton (Karst).

He is survived by : his sons, Steven Karst (Deb) of Russell and Darrell Karst of Russell, Kansas; his stepchildren, Terry Branick (Joe) of Overland Park and Clay Stewart (Karen) of Great Bend, Kansas; and his close friend Carol McKenna of Russell, Kansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial in Gene's name has been established with Russell Youth Trap Shooting Team in care of Pohlman-Varner- Peeler.
