She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Dechant and Margaret Dechant (Rohr); her husband Louis R. Sander; and her siblings, Alvin Dechant and Evelyn Erickson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Sander (Mary) and Mark Sander (Susie); her siblings, Herb Dechant (Viola), Eugene Dechant, Duane Dechant (Marge), Virgil Dechant of McPherson, KS, Harold Dechant (Madeline), Rosiline Ziegler of Thornton, CO, Betty Knoll of Liberal, KS, Ann Brungardt-Ziegler of Grainfield, KS, Mariette Dechant of McPherson, KS and Barbara Zerr (Henry) of Garden City, KS; her grandchildren, Matt Sander (Teal), Sarah Henry (Brett), Tyler Sander, Luke Sander (Katie), Lynn Sander (Derek Fricke) and Elizabeth Roddy (Ryan); and also, Frank and Cecillia Polcyn of Russell. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Social distancing and wearing masks will be required at the visitation and funeral services.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St Mary Cemetery Fund or the Gorham Daughters of Isabella in care of the mortuary.
