He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hoop and Peggy Hoop (Lemmon); and his brother Kenneth Hoop. He is survived by: his children, Cody Hoop (Angel) of Russell, Jordan Hoop (Audra) of Russell and Justin Hoop of Russell, Kansas; his stepchildren, Jaime Forke of Omaha and Jennifer Gilman (Travis) of Beatrice, Nebraska; his sister Susan; his sister-in-law Candy Hoop of Wichita, Kansas; and his niece Stephanie Callihan of Austin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
