It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon R. Waugh of Russell, Kansas, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Robert "Bob" Waugh, Sr. and Mary Waugh (Glenn); and his siblings, Jack Waugh and Mary Lou Waugh. He is survived by : his siblings, Brian Waugh, Sr. of Garden City, Kansas, Sally Waugh of Dighton, Kansas, Veronica Kennon (Blake Holloway) of Chandler, Texas, Christina Kerls of Topeka, Kansas and Amanda Darcy (J. R.) of Spearville, Kansas.; and his nieces and nephews, Jerry, Alex, Brian Jr., William, Trisha, Hunter, Brady, Harley, Adler, Evan, Noah, Harry, Emma Lee, Avery, Blake, Paislee, Paxton and Justin.

Memorials may be given to the Russell County Veterans Memorial and sent in care of the mortuary.
