He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hunt and Opal Fern Mast Hunt; his siblings, Jeanie Hunt and Bert; and his sister-in-law Pearl Hunt.

He is survived by: his sibling's children, Marsha (Randy Heronemus), Brett Hunt of Leoti, Bart Hunt of Leoti and Bill (Gail Hunt).

Memorials in Lieu of flowers may be given to the Scott County Animal Rescue.
