We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2020, at the age of 98, Virginia Turley of Scott City, Kansas, born in Ness City, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Turley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Reinert and Alice Reinert (Petersilie); her husband Carl E. Turley; and her son LeRoy. She is survived by : her children, Linda Harkness (Gary) of Larned, KS, Carol Heims, Kent Strickler of Scott City, KS, Sandi Lewis (John) of Abbyville, KS, Delmar Turley of Scott City, KS, Dale Turley (Shelley) of Scott City, KS and Deb Sherman of Wichita, KS; her stepchildren, Joan Peltrey of Hobbs, NM and Jerry Turley of Garden City, KS; and her sister Gladys Hilmes (Fred) of Ness City, KS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Scott Community Foundation or the Scott City Animal Rescue.
