She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter H. Johnston and Alice Johnston (Dunn); and her siblings, Betty Johnson and Bill Johnston. She is survived by : her former life partner Dale Carpenter; and her daughters, Joyce Ann Carpenter of Sedan and Diane Boulanger of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
