She was predeceased by: her husband Norbert L. Huerter; and her sisters, Erma Jean Piper and Kathrine Clayton (Kay). She is survived by: her children, Richard Huerter (Stella) of Crescent, Stephen (Barbie), Nicholas Huerter (Connie) of Seneca, Gerald Huerter (Shari) of Lecompton, Timothy Huerter (Laurie) of Cottonwood, Martin Huerter (Leslie) of Lecompton, Kansas and Christine Huerter of Miami, Florida; and her aunt Virginia Suddock. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-granddaughter; and another great-great-grandson.
