With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Huerter of Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Huerter and Valeria Johnstone Huerter; his wife Geraldine "Jerrie" B. Enneking; his great grandchild Dyllon Butrick; and his brother William.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Battin (Roger) of Hiawatha, James Jr. Huerter (Ann) of Topeka, Gary Huerter (Lori) of Seneca, Ronnie Huerter of Seneca, Cindy Carlson (Dan) of Seneca, Kelli Olberding (Greg) of Seneca and DeAnn Herberholz (Larry) of Scottsboro, Alabama; and his brothers, Robert Huerter of Chanute, Alfred "Smitty" Huerter of Goff and Daniel Huerter of Bellevue, NE. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
