He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loretta Hilda Haug and John Patrick Baker; his daughter Tara Ballaro Independence; his granddaughters, Kayla Wade Buffalo and Kyra Lewallen Independence; his siblings, Mary Kay Palmgren Wichita and John Gerard Baker Camdenton (Sindy); and his siblings' children, Joshua Baker Camdenton, Stephanie Ethington (Brent) and Michael Parmley Wichita (Carrie).
