With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard M. Haugsness (Seneca, Kansas), who passed away on August 18, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. J. and Lillian; and his siblings, Gerald, Robert, John, Milton, Kathleen and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Clarissa Davidow (Larry) of Lenexa, KS, Anna Feldt (Brice) of Topeka, KS, Robert Haugsness (Judy) of Edgerton, MO, Mary Crabtree (Cary) of Seneca, KS, Gerald Haugsness of Beatrice, NE and Monica Coverdale (Troy) of Greeley, CO.; his grandchildren, Abby Davidow, Marya, Brenden Feldt, Crystal, Victoria Haugsness, Chelsey Green (Zach), Austin, Layne, Elliott Crabtree and Cade Haugsness; his great grandchildren, Rockwell Green, Hadley and Cohen Crabtree; and his siblings, Betty Brannam of Topeka, KS, Margaret Albers of Lincoln, NE, Karin Reilly, Bill Haugsness of Kansas City, MO and Larry Haugsness of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the City of Seneca Electrical Department for Christmas Lights or the City of Seneca Fountain Project, sent in care of the family.
