He was predeceased by : his parents, Velven York Sr. and Rose Wood York; and his wife Mary Ann York (Taylor). He is survived by : his children, Leisa Hartley (Jimmy Hartley) of Lizella, Georgia, Sherrian McAnn Fuentes (Ralph) of San Antonio, Velven York III (Jack) of Spokane and David York (Rhonda) of Leavenworth, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Chuck Hartley, Amanda McAnn, Taylor York and Emma York; and his great grandchildren, Diane Gomez and Joseph Medellin.
