He was predeceased by : his father Glen E. Rusche; and his brothers, James M. Rusche and Daniel J. Rusche. He is survived by : his mother Eleanor Mergenmeier Rusche of Seneca; his former life partner Connie Luck; his wife Doris Spreer; his sons, Ryan Rusche (Kim) of Fremont, NE and Travis Rusche of Seneca; his siblings, Mary Ann Spellmeier of Sabetha, Glen Rusche (Mary Ellen) of Seneca and David Rusche (Gladys) of Seneca; and his close friend Tina Roe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
