He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Marvin and Fern Dean Chaney (Swartz); his wife Margaret Virginia Basgall; his son Dane Chaney; his grandson Marc Graham; and his siblings, Wilma Arnberger, Norma Arnberger and Leonard Chaney.
He is survived by : his children, Darletta Collins (Dennis) of Sharon Springs, KS, Kathy Robinson (Gary) of Humboldt, KS, Rodene Doty (Gary) of Stafford, KS, Teresa Havel (Roger) of Pueblo, CO and Denise Weyerman (Wayne) of Idalia, CO.; and his siblings, Elmer Chaney (Glenna) of Sharon Springs, KS and Wanda Keister (Harry) of St. Francis, KS. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
